Map-specific Information

  • Click on the red pin to see a pop-up for Bagby Airfield in the top-left corner of the map.
  • Click on the “Directions” icon to open Google Maps in another browser tab and enter your start location for a driving route to the airfield.
  • Click on the Satellite imagery icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen for a more detailed view of the area.
  • Zooming can be done either with the +/- symbols at the bottom-right corner or with your mouse wheel.

For a street view of the entrance you’re looking for, you can follow this link to the airfield entrance. The new entrance is just before the 30 mph speed limit when entering Bagby on the right-hand side of the road (Google Maps is not yet showing a 3D view of the new road to the airfield) when entering Bagby from the direction of the A19. There is a large metal gate marked “Bagby Airfield” at this location.

The new entry road can be seen by clicking the “Show satellite imagery” button in the bottom-left corner of the above map, or by going to its Google Maps image

Note that the old automatic entrance gate is no longer operating, so you cannot gain entry to the airfield by the old route.
